The Guyot Designs TapGuard is a carbon-filter that easily slots in to just about any wide-mouth bottle. The carbon pouch will then extract chlorine, iodine and other pesky bad-tasting chemicals, on a swig-by-swig basis, in fact it will remove 95 per cent of the chlorine. The pack ships with two extra carbon filters, enough for 200 litres of water. All this for just $34.95. Note, the TapGuard is not designed to filter water that is not potable to a safe-drinking standard.
